Configuring Eudora 5 for MacOS
Requires Eudora 5.2 or newer. For MacOS X users, MacOS X 10.1.3 or later is required.
When starting Eudora for the first time, it will present you with this first window. Follow the instructions below each picture.

In the "Username" box, enter your username. In the "Mail Server" box, enter your host name.
For instance, if your e-mail address is "jersmith@aesasp.com", your username would be "jersmith" (the text to the left of the @ sign). Your host name, also known as your server, would be "aesasp.com" (the text to the right of the @ sign.)
In the "Real Name" box, enter your name.
From the list on the left, click the "Checking Mail" icon.

In the "Mail Protocol" section, click the "IMAP" button.
In the "Location prefix" box, enter "~/mail/".
Click the "OK" button. Configuration is complete.
